Empowering Women and Girls in Nepal

In Nepal, the narrative for women and girls is often one of adversity. Many face the harsh realities of sexual and domestic violence, unjust laws, a corrupt justice system, child marriage in rural areas, and pervasive victim-blaming. Despite recent strides toward gender equality, much work remains to be done. The young women we work with have faced these challenges firsthand, experiencing the deep-seated inequality in their society.

Our mission is to change this narrative by empowering young women through our Leadership Treks in the Himalayas. These treks are more than just a physical journey; they are a path to self-discovery, personal growth, and leadership development. Designed by experienced coaches and mentors, our treks focus on building confidence, resilience, and leadership skills—both personal and professional.

During our 7-10 day expeditions, participants embark on a challenging trek through the majestic Himalayas by day and engage in transformative workshops, discussions, and activities by evening. Guided by local mentors and instructors, they explore topics such as cultivating a personal vision, building healthy and meaningful relationships, navigating life’s transitions, and aligning their careers and education with the purpose and vision they uncover.

Nepal is facing a significant challenge as many of its brightest young minds seek opportunities abroad. Our goal is to equip these young women with the tools they need to create success at home, becoming catalysts for positive change in their communities and the nation. By empowering them, we aim to create a ripple effect of prosperity and progress for all Nepali women.

We are currently working towards becoming an official 501(c)(3) organization, building the foundation and support necessary to expand our impact.
